On July 31, 1968, he played to a sold-out crowd in the Municipal Auditorium in Shreveport, Louisiana. The stage setting was sparse. There was no need for elaborate lights or sound equipment. It was just a man with his guitar, amps, and the music that defined a cultural revolution.”
